We are parents of a child with autism, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in 2013. Our son is non-verbal and uses an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device to communicate.
Our journey inspired us to create OLIN, aiming to support families facing similar challenges. We struggled with communication, parental involvement, and daily information about our son’s progress. To address this, we collaborated with a software engineer and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) providers. Our goal is to make ABA tools accessible to service providers, parents, and caregivers, emphasizing the importance of parental involvement in a child’s development.
